Meet Adalia!  This was our very first Standard Poodle we adopted in 2012.  She loves her grooming table and only the gate keeps her off of it.  She is a fun dog and loves to play with doggies and even gets down on the floor with little pups and plays so nicely with them.  She also loves to get into the horse’s water trough and then run all around in the dirt!  Our job as the groomer of this girl is never done. lol

This was Adalia’s very first big girl haircut but with a creative twist added ;).  This trim was done just a few days after Adalia’s first birthday.

Adalia’s Creative Rose Groom

The goals we had for this groom was beauty, elegance, balance, and adding a bit of Asian Flare to the face.  We feel we met these goals but scroll down to see the after photos for yourself.

Before Photos

This is Adalia’s coat before we groomed her.  We kept her hair banded so it was out of her face while she was growing it.  In some of these photos we have taken all the bands out for the photos so you can see how much hair she has.  A coat like this requires knowledge, skill, and dedication to maintain.

 

 

After

Here is Adalia after we finished her.  The eyelashes are her actual coat as it is not safe to glue eyelashes on by a dog’s eyes.  The dog’s safety comes first here at God’s Creatures Grooming!  A coat like this can take 1-2 years to grow this much and brushing daily is a must for this much coat.
