Feeding your fish while away from home

Yes it is possible to feed your fish even when you are away on vacation.  You can buy “Weekend Feeder” tablets for fish.  The “Weekend Feeders” can be great for short trips away from home.  For longer tips away form home the electronic “Automatic Food Dispenser” for fish can work great.  Caution must however be used when using any of these feed methods as they can fail to work.  It is recommended that you tryout these feeding methods before leaving on a trip.  Sometimes fish can consume the Weekend Feeder” tablets faster than expected and the “Automatic Food Dispenser” can become clogged especially if it becomes wet from the tank water.  If possible it’s a good idea to have someone check on your fish, while you are away, to make sure they have enough food but not too much so the water becomes cloudy.
